Deetra Anderson Norman

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 12,2009 at Lanier Christian Church for Deetra Anderson Norman, age 37, of Gainesville died on Sunday August 9, 2009, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Pastor David Simpson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.

Ms. Norman was born in Montgomery, Ala. on March 11, 1972, the daughter of Sanford and Gloria Anderson of Leesburg, FL. Ms. Norman was a member of Lanier Christian church and had lived in the Gainesville area for the past 17 years.



In addition to her parents, survivors include two daughters, Andrea and Bethany Norman both of Woodstock, fiancé Lamar Smith of Gainesville, brother, Derek Anderson of Villa Rica, maternal grandfather, James T. Hornsby of Tallassee, AL, paternal grandparents Earl and Mary Ann Anderson of Millbrook, AL.
