Robert Lee Morrison

Funeral services for Robert Lee Morrison, age 52, of Stone Mountain, will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Furman Lewis will officiate with burial to follow the service in Clarkesville Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Morrison passed away August 6, 2009, following a sudden illness.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 1, 1957, Mr. Morrison was the son of Cecil Morrison and the late Nan Hames Morrison. Mr. Morrison graduated from Cross Keys High School and completed his undergraduate work at Berry College in Rome where he earned a BA in Biology. Mr. Morrison was a self employed photographer and he was a member of Brookhaven United Methodist Church in Atlanta.

Survivors include his father Robert Cecil Morrison and sister Jane Brown of Atlanta, as well as sister Carole Poleski of Grosse Ile, Michigan.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 5495 Hwy 197 S., Clarkesville, on Monday, August 10, 2009, from 6-8 PM.
