Jean M. Emmert

Mrs. Jean M. Emmert, age 80 of Cumming, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Born in Houston, Texas she had recently moved to Georgia to be closer to her family. She quietly succumbed to pancreatic cancer at home after a courageous, difficult battle, surrounded by her loving family. Her presence will be deeply missed. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a special aunt. Mrs. Emmert is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Nell Maley, sister, Joan Ballard and beloved son, Glen Emmert all from Houston, TX.



Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Roland Emmert; daughter, Dr. Barbara Boling and son-in-law, Dr. Fred Boling and grandchild, Mary Boling all of Cumming, GA.



Funeral services will be held Friday, August 7th at 2:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with The Rev. Natalie Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.



In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
