Noel William Roper

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00am on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Antioch United Methodist Church for Noel William Roper, age 87, of Gainesville. The Rev. Randy Strickland will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 7th from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm at the funeral home. Mr. Roper passed away on Wednesday, August 5th at Northeast Ga. Medical center following an extended illness.

Mr. Roper was born September 19, 1921 in Hall County to the late Edward Webb Roper & Tannie White Roper. He served his county during WWII in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater. Mr. Roper worked over 35 years doing T.V. & Radio repair and was a member of Antioch U.M.C. for 36 years.
