Bessie E. Pierleoni

Bessie E. Pierleoni, age 90 of Jacksonville, FL formerly of Alto, passed away Tuesday, August 04, 2009, at her residence following an extended illness.

Born in Key West, FL on August 28, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John O. and Minnie Gehry Caudell. Mrs. Pierleoni was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. E. Ernest Pierleoni.

Surviving are daughter & son-in-law, Felicia & Daniel Cordier of Jacksonville, FL; sons, Allen Pierleoni of Sacramento, CA and Louis Pierleoni of Jacksonville, FL; son-in-law, Bill Hawkins of Oakwood; grandchildren, Lisa Nichols, Gus Hawkins and Susan McLaren; great grandchildren, Tyler Nichols, Corey Elizabeth Hawkins, Mikella Hawkins, Isabella McLaren and Eleanor Rose McLaren.

Funeral services are 1:00 pm Saturday, August 08, 2009, from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Bill Combs officiating. Interment will follow in the VFW Memorial Park.
