Terrell Roberts

Mr. Terrell Roberts, age 81, of Cleveland passed away Monday August 3, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Roberts was born in White County to the late Joe and Lecy Eller Roberts. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie Kay Cross, brothers, Jack Roberts, Harold (Happy) Roberts, Carl Roberts, sisters, Euna Bell Roberts Hubbard, Lurlene Roberts Dixon, Dorothy Roberts Cantrell and Martha Roberts Cantrell. Mr. Roberts was a farmer and of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Ruth Cantrell Roberts, Cleveland; daughters and sons in law, Doris Jean and Randall Gilstrap, Gainesville, Sylvia and Michael Eminger, Dahlonega; son and daughter in law, Ronnie and Kathy Roberts, Dahlonega; son in law, Mitch Cross, Lula; sisters, Ethylene Roberts , Gastonia, NC, Willene Roberts Beck, Dawsonville, Cynthia Roberts Justice, Dahlonega; brothers, Claude Roberts, Clarkesville, William Roberts, Gastonia, NC; 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday August 5, 2009 from Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. The Rev. John Reeser will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
