Rex William Burnett

Rex William Burnett, 49 of Clermont died Friday July 31, 2009.


Born May 15, 1960 in Lumpkin County, Rex had lived in Hall County for most of his life. Rex was a very loving and caring son and brother, always a friend and he never met a stranger. Rex was a hard worker for Almark Foods.


We will miss our only son and brother. We all loved him very much.


Survivors include his parents, Shirley and Ernest Barnett, Clermont; sisters and brothers-in-law Judy and Larry Cooper, Murrayville, Debbie and Ted Cagle of Gillsville; niece Crystal Cagle and nephew Joshua Cagle of Gillsville; sister and brother-in-law; Michelle and Marc Turner, nieces Kristina and Tambra Norton all of Gainesville.


Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday August 2, 2009 at the Community Chapel Congregational Holiness Church. The Rev. Tommy Towe and the Rev. Pierce Ashmore will officiate. Interment will be in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday August 1, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home.
