Annie Bell Robinson Harrington

Annie Bell Robinson Harrington, age 81, Cornelia, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at her residence following a sudden illness.


Born in Stephens County on June 23, 1928, she was the daughter of Fain and Mamie Tomlin Robinson. Mrs. Harrington was of the Baptist faith and was employed as a seamstress with International Outerwear. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Earl, Sr. and J.D. Robinson, and sisters, Katherine Roberts and Bessie Robinson.


Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Charles Alan and Patty Harrington of Mt. Airy; granddaughter, Emalee Harrington of Mt. Airy; brothers, Eugene, Alfred and S.C. Robinson, all of Cornelia.


Funeral services are 11:00 am Thursday, July 30, 2009, from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Billy Burrell officiating. Interment will follow in Community Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 pm on Wednesday.
