Lela Ralston

Mrs. Lela Ralston, age 91 of Dahlonega, Ga. died July 23, 2009.

She was a member of Hightower Baptist Church and was a homemaker and also a poultry farmer for many years.

She was the daughter of the late John Lingerfelt and Jenny Moss Lingerfelt and was also preceded in death by her first husband, Verdell Lance and her second husband, Wesley Lee Ralston; two sisters, Fannie Lee and Estelle Gaddis.

She is survived by her stepchildren, Mary Weaver and husband Morris of Evans, GA, Isabell Colwell and Husband Max of Millers Creek, NC, Irene Allred of Waianaie, Hawaii, Chris Hallaran and husband Tom of Chattanooga, TN, David Ralston and wife Georgia of Cocoa, FL; brother: Claud Lingerfelt of Dahlonega. 10 grandchildren 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday July 26, 2009 from the Banister Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Paul Shadburn will officiate. Burial will follow in Nimblewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3 PM until 9 PM Saturday July 25, 2009 at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega.
