Tom Glaza

Tom Glaza, age 74, passed away on July 18, 2009. Tom was born in Bay City, Michigan and lived in Cumming, GA. He received an MBA from the University of Michigan. His business career began with IBM where he achieved many awards including the IBM Golden Circle, the top recognition for elite sales performers. While with IBM, Tom was instrumental in writing the Copics books. Tom then created his own company, GMD. After selling his company, Tom joined MAPICS as VP of Marketing and Business Development. Tom loved to garden, was known for his gourmet cooking talent and was a gifted photographer.

Tom is survived by his wife, Carolyn R. Glaza; sons, Mark, Joel and Scott; sister, Pat Lynn; brother, Jim Glaza; grandchildren, Justin Glaza, Brittany, Brieanna and Reece Heaton and Mitchell Gordon.

A Memorial Service and a Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, July 25th at St. Aidan's Episcopal Church in Alpharetta, GA. beginning at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Aidans Memorial Garden or to the charity of your choice in Tom's name.
