Cleo Mills Payne

Mrs. Cleo Mills Payne, age 86, of Cumming, GA, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009. She was a native of Forsyth County and a member of Cumming Congregational Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Payne.


Survivors include children, J.B. and Jane Payne of Cumming; Bertha Mae Goss of Pickens County; Frances Waters of Cumming; Preston and Juanita Payne of Dawsonville; Jimmy Payne of Dawsonville; and Retha and Doug Gunter of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leamon Mills of Cumming, Jake and Ann Mills of Cumming, Shirley and Jeanette Mills of Atlanta, Sherman and Shirley Mills of Marietta, Teensie Mills and Agnes Mills, both of Cumming; 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Lewis Payne of Cumming and sister-in-law, Maureen Payne of Cumming.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 18th at 3:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. LeRoy Blackwell, Rev. Jimmy Payne and Rev. Stephen Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Coal Mountain Cemetery in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 16th from 4:30 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday, July 17th from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Saturday, July 18th from 9:00 am until the hour of service.
