Ernest J. Zingleman

Beloved husband, father, son, and brother, Ernest J. Zingleman, age 45, of Cumming, Ga., died July 9, 2009 after a courageous 9-month battle with brain cancer.


He earned a B.A. from the Univ. of Dallas in 1986 and an M.B.A. in 1998. He was a highly respected industry expert in the field of radio telemetry, where he was employed by Freewave Technologies. An award-winning ham radio enthusiast since age 13, he was an esteemed member of the ARRL, Southeastern DX and South East Contest clubs. He is survived by Tanya, his wife of 15 years, children Vivian, Nick, and Drew, mother Pauline, brother William, and sisters Mary, Elizabeth, and Roseanna.

A funeral mass will be held Monday, July 13th at 10:30 am at St. Benedicts Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Mullakkara, officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 until 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm.
