James Henry Ford

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of James Henry Ford, age 84, of Jefferson, who passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Mr. Ford, born in St. Louis, Missouri, was a son of the late, James Franklin Ford; and the late, Catherine Vassier Ford. He worked as a Sales Representative, and was a Navy Veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Della Goodwin Ford of Jefferson. Daughters: Judith Mann of Winder; Mary Catherine Jones of Pinetops, NC; Tara Perrin of Oxford, GA; and Rita Eatherly of Fort Worth, TX. Step-daughter: Carmen Ayers of Jefferson; and step-son: Phillip Duncan of Pendergrass. Sixteen grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Mr. Ford was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
