Kenneth Welborn

Funeral services for Kenneth Welborn, age 52, of Demorest, will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at 2:00 PM from Fairfield Baptist Church. Rev. Keith Allison and Pastor Don Samples will officiate with burial to follow the service in the church cemetery.

Mr. Welborn passed away July 4, 2009.

Born in West Palm Beach, Florida on July 13, 2009, Mr. Welborn was the son of Mary Lindsey and the late Major Bill Welborn. He was previously employed by Georgia Erectors and he was a U.S. Army Veteran. In addition to his father, Mr. Welborn is preceded in death by his wife Juanita Smith Welborn.

Survivors include his mother Mary Lindsey, daughters Cary W. Galloway of Clayton and Cory W. Shockley of Lula, son Caine Chaffin of Toccoa, brothers Darrell Welborn of Baldwin and Billy Welborn of Hollywood, and one grand daughter Bethany Galloway.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 5495 Hwy 197 S., Clarkesville, on Tuesday, July 07, 2009, from 7-9 PM.
