William F. (Bill) Dill

Mr. William F. "Bill" Dill, 84 of Imperial Drive, Gainesville died Wednesday July 1, 2009.

Born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Mr. Dill was the son of the late William Folk and Ada Roberts Dill. He had lived in
Hall County since 1968 where he worked for Winn-Dixie for over 40 years and he retired as district manager. He served in the United States Navy during World War II, was a member
of the Paul E. Bolding Post #7 American Legion, he was a lifetime member of the Taylors Masonic Lodge #345 F & AM in
Taylors, S.C.; Mr. Dill was a member of the First Bapitst Church on Green Street and also was a member of the Anglers Sunday School class.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday July 6, 2009 in the chapel of the First Baptist Church on Green Street. The Rev. Dr. Bill Coates will officiate. Interment
will be in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church parlor Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Compassionate Hospice, 1435 Haw
Creek Circle, Suite 402, Cumming, Georgia 30041 or the 3rd Century Campaign c/o the First Baptist Church, 751 Green
Street, Gainesville, Ga. 30501.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Merrill Dill, Gainesville, Ga.; Children, Janice and Richard Ludwig, Gainesville, Ga., Joan and Gary Anderson, Oakwood;
Grandchildren; Brian and Jacqueline Woodcock, Decatur, Ga., Mark Anderson, Oakwood, Ga., Megan and Scott Cargile, Alto, Ga., Page Anderson, Oakwood, Ga., Caitlyn Ludwig,
Gainesville, Ga., Great Grandchildren; Kendall and Abigail Cargile, Alto, Ga,; Sister, Bobbie Poole, Chester, S,C. Brother in law and Sister in law; The Rev Carol and Marion
Owenby of Dunn NC, and Special cousins; Dick and Barbara Kitchens, Union, S.C. and a number of other relatives, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Mr. Dill is preceded in death by two sisters, Alene Lawson and Thelma
Brantley.
