Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Martha Inez Grindle, age 82 of Cleveland. Mrs. Grindle passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at a private nursing home following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 2, 2009 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Terry Poole officiating, interment will follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church.
Mrs. Grindle was born in Hall County on June 11, 1926 to Frank Lee and Isabelle Chambers Lee. For several years Mrs. Grindle worked in at New Holland Mill and Georgia Broilers before finally retiring from Gress Foods. She was preceded in death by her sons, Albert Grindle and Harold Grindle. Survivors include her grandson, Phillip Grindle of Cleveland , Kenneth Grindle, Flowery Branch, Steve Grindle, Sautee and Jeff Grindle of Macon. Mrs. Grindle is also survived by her brother A.J. Lee of Flowery Branch as well as her 10 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren
