Melissa A. Beatty

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Melissa A. Beatty, 48, of Homer, who died last Sunday evening, June 21, at BJC Hospital.


Born in Fulton County, she was the daughter of James A. Wiley of Homer and the late Martha T. Wiley. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jan W. Moor. Mrs. Beatty was a homemaker.


Survivors, along with her father and husband, John Beatty of the residence and a son, Jamie Beatty, also of the residence, are brothers Donald (Pam) Wailey of Commerce and Jimmy (Terri) Wiley of Carnesville.


Funeral services for Melissa A. Beatty will be conducted Wednesday, June 24 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. Duane Eller officiating. Interment will follow in the Nails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. and at other times at the home of Mr. James L. Wiley, 3080 Highway 51N, Carnesville.
