Bonnie Mae Savage Gowder

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Bonnie Mae Savage Gowder, 92, of Maysville who died on Sunday at Hill Haven Nursing Home. Born in Jackson County, GA, she was the daughter of the late John and Lillie Truelove Savage. She was the widow of George D. Gowder and was also predeceased by a brother, John Savage, a granddaughter, Teresa Reed and a great grandson, Cody Joseph Gowder.

Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn (Aaron) Haggard of Danielsville; 2 sons, Harold (Grace) Gowder and Billy (Edna) Gowder, both of Maysville; a sister, Ruth Scroggs of Maysville; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Bonnie Mae Savage Gowder will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 AM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Swayne Carlan and Rev. Steve Savage officiating. Interment will follow in the Grove Level Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-9 PM and at other times at the home of Lisa Hill at 8200 Jefferson Rd. in Commerce.
