James Thomas Mayhue

Mr. James Thomas Mayhue, age 56, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009 at his residence.

Memorial services are scheduled for 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Memorial Park South Chapel in Flowery Branch. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 24, 2009 with a memorial service to held at 7:00 p.m. Reverend Chandler Anderson will officiate.

Mr. Mayhue was born in Jackson County, Georgia. He is the son of James Calvin Mayhue and the late Mildred (Boss) Mayhue. He was retired from the United States Army. He loved his family, was an avid gardener and loved building bird houses.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Lee (Smith) Mayhue, Flowery Branch; father, James Calvin Mayhue; son, James William Mayhue, Pendergrass; daughter, Amanda Dale Mayhue, Flowery Branch; son, John Royce Mayhue, Davenport, IA; grandchildren, Chris Dunwoodie, Taylor Mayhue and Jacob Mayhue; sister, Mary Threlkeld, Commerce;
