Brenda Sue Brown

Mrs. Brenda Sue Brown, age 58, of Dahlonega, GA died June 19, 2009 at her residence following a sudden illness.

Mrs. Brown was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County.

She was the daughter of the late Paul and Willie Juanita Garrett Hunsinger and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Brown, and 5 infant brothers.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Leonard Brown, Dahlonega, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Scott Gunter, Cleveland, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, David and Tina Brown, Dahlonega, GA, Michael Brown, Dahlonega, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vera and Steve Etheridge, Fran Maloch, Debbie Anderson, Lynn and Doug Gooch, all of Dahlonega, GA, brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie and Debbie Hunsinger, Tommy and Cheryl Hunsinger, all of Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Austin Gooch, Chancey Gunter, Curtis Brown, Benjamin Brown, Jared Gunter, Johnathan Brown, and Gracie Brown. A large number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brown are scheduled for 4 PM Sunday June 21, 2009 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega. Rev. Lyman Caldwell and Rev. James Bennett will officiate.

Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home all day on Saturday and on Sunday until the time of service.
