Mary Nell Segraves

Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Mary Nell Segraves, age 86 of Commerce who died late Thursday evening at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Madison County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Neri Bird and Rosa Benton Bird. She was the widow of Jack W. Segraves.
Survivors include cousins, Elson and Judy Ingram of Tucker and Reggie Lee and Annie Ingram of Mocksville, NC; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mary Nell Segraves will be conducted on Saturday, at 2pm from the Rogers Baptist Church with Reverend Carlton Peters officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7-9pm. Mrs. Segraves will lie in state at the church from 1:30pm until the time of service.
