Jerry Morgan Vereen

Jerry Morgan Vereen, 62, of Duluth, GA died on June 17, 2009 at Peachtree Christian Hospice. His father, Jack Merill Vereen, Sr. and twin brother, Terry Vereen preceded him in death.

A veteran of the US Navy, Jerry was a firefighter for Peachtree City and the City of Forest Park. He loved his job as a firefighter and most recently worked as Life Safety Fire Planner for Gwinnett County. Jerry also loved the animals he rescued and nurtured. He had an outstanding sense of humor. He also had a strong faith in Jesus Christ.
