Ruth Bell Orr Stowe

Ingram Funeral Home of Cumming announces the death of Mrs. Ruth Bell Orr Stowe, age 87, of Cumming, who passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009.


Mrs. Stowe was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Elmer Stowe; and was a member of the Long Street Baptist Church.


Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Donald Cantrell of Cumming; Patsy and Reverend Larry Waddell of Canton; Nancy and Anthony Gravitt of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Joni Stowe of Cumming; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Quimby and Chlorene Orr of Cumming; sister, Yvonne Smallwood of Cumming; sister-in-law, Anne Orr of Cumming; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Wynett Teems of Cumming; sister-in-law, Mamie Bullock of Roswell; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 13, 2009 in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Cantrell, Reverend Larry Waddell, Reverend Danny Orr, Reverend Terry Caylor, Reverend Danny Satterfield and Reverend George Scondras officiating. Interment will follow at the Longstreet Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Ingram Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, June 12, 2009; and from 9:00 AM until the hour of the service on Saturday, June 13, 2009.
