Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Peggy Joyce Webb, age 51 of Cornelia. Mrs. Webb passed away Monday, June 1, 2009 at Habersham County Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, June 5, 2009 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Anthony Cook and the Rev. Verner London officiating. Interment will follow in Chattahoochee Baptist Church Cemetery
Mrs. Webb was born on February 4, 1958 in Hall County to Ben Newberry and Jeanette Cleghorn Newberry. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Lucille Webb.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Webb, Cornelia; sons and daughters in law, Jeff & Nikki Webb, Cleveland; Michael & Jessica Webb, Cleveland; sister, Annette Owenby, Cleveland; brothers, Benjiman Newberry, Cleveland, Kenneth Newberry, Cleveland and James Newberry of Gainesville as well as 5 grandchildren
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 to 9 PM
