Mary Thomas Johnson

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mary Thomas Johnson, age 70, of Athens, who passed away on June 2, 2009. Mrs. Johnson was born on December 17, 1938 in Texas, the daughter of the late Gladys Lambright. She graduated from Elbert County High School, and was a cashier at the Home Depot in Athens. Her husband, John W. Johnson, preceded her in death.

Survivors include sons and daughter in law, Scott and Janet Johnson, of Jefferson, Keith Senkbeil of Hartwell; brother, Dennis Lambright of Crawford and stepbrother, Kenneth Lambright of Ekins, Ark; Grandchildren, Alexis Johnson, Robby and Randy Senkbeil.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 11am in the Chapel of Evens Funeral home with visitation to be held on Saturday from 9-11am prior to the service. The body will be cremated after the service.
