Carl Andrew Ridley, Sr.

Funeral services for, Carl Andrew Ridley, Sr. age 96, of Cleveland and formerly of Clermont, died May 30,2009 at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 3, 2009 at Concord Baptist Church. Interment will be in Yahoola Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Bruce Morgan, will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Ridley was a member of Concord Baptist Church, the Clermont Masonic Lodge and the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville.

Mr. Ridley was a retired hospital administrator and a native of Lumpkin County. He is survived by his son, Carl Ridley, Jr. of Tucson, AZ and his daughters, Elizabeth White of Pleasanton, CA, and Deborah Slade of Suwanee, GA, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers it is requested that donations be made to the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville or the Children's Center of Hope and Healing, 615 Oak St. Gainesville, GA. 30501.
