Willonell Collins Sutton

Ms. Willonell "Nell" Collins Sutton, 79 of Dorsey Peek Road, Gainesville died Thursday May 28, 2009 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.


A lifelong resident of Hall County, Ms. Sutton was the daughter of the late Robert and Ada Thomas Collins. She was retired from Lakeshore Heights Nursing Home where she worked as a Nurses aid, and she also volunteered at Limestone Heritage for a number of years. Ms. Sutton attended the Victory Baptist Church.


Survivors include her loving dog, "Misty"; brothers, Hoyt Collins and Ralph Collins, both of Gainesville; sister, Bobbie Webb, Gainesville; sisters-in-law; Eva Collins, Betty Collins, Evelyn Collins, all of Gainesville. A number of nieces,nephews, great nieces, great nephews,great great nieces and great great nephews also survive.


She is preceded in death by her sisters Lounett Collins, Alice Reed, Ruth Egnor; brothers Ed Collins, Albert Collins, Arthur Collins, Hubert Collins and J.B. Collins.


Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday May 29, 2009 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bill Surrett will officate. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday May 28, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again Friday May 29, 2009 from noon until 4:00 p.m.
