Winnie Marie Power

Winnie Marie Power was born in Cumming January 18, 1923. She went to be with Jesus in her eternal home May 27, 2009 at the age 86. She was preceded in death by James E. Rives, William (Bill) Power and beloved daughter Starr Marie Rives. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sheila and Bobby Carmichael, grandson and wife Chris and Jill Hughes, great grandsons Hammond Hughes, Griffin Hughes and Hutton Mauldin with many other family and friends surviving.



Winnie Marie (Meme, Aunt Winnie) was a loving wife, a wonderful mother and friend to all. She always had a kind word for everyone she met and witnessed her love for Jesus at every opportunity.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29, 2009 at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Vaughan and Rev. Horrace Richards officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
