Barry Edward Wilson

Barry Edward Wilson, age 62,was born June 6, 1946 to Dr. Robert O. Wilson and Edythe Wilson in Greenville, Ohio. Barry attended Greenville High School, Tri State University and Wright State University. He lived for many years in Lilburn, GA before moving to Cumming, GA in 1999. In his life he was many things, a high school football player, small businessman, amateur star gazer, computer and technology super hero, but most of all, a loving husband and father. His final job was with SunTrust Bank as VP and Senior Project Manager. Barry passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2009 surrounded by his loving wife Patricia, son Nathan, and daughter Katy Ross.


He is also survived by two brothers Col.(ret.) Jeffrey A. Wilson and Hideko Wilson, Las Vegas NV, and Dennis O. Wilson, Miami FL. He leaves to mourn his loss daughter-in-law Lisa Wilson, grandson Alexander Flynn Wilson, and son-in-law Edward A. Ross. He also leaves his mother-in-law Margharetta P. Brake of Eatonton, GA, brothers-in-law James M. Gregory and wife Dr. Paula Gregory of Stone Mountain GA, Steven R. Gregory and wife Sloan Gregory of Eatonton GA, and his many nieces and nephews.


The Memorial Service will be held at his home on Sunday, May 24th from 3-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in his name at www.firstgiving.com/barrywilson.
