Donald Compton Short

Donald Compton Short, age 78, of Cornelia, Georgia, died Saturday, May 16, 2009.

Mr. Short was born on October 2, 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late William R. and Helen Compton Short. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Crow Short, and his brother, Charles M. Short. Mr. Short was a graduate of Cornelia High School and attended the University of Georgia. A member of the Cornelia First Baptist Church and the Southern Baptist Menâ
