J.D. Harris, Jr.

J.D. Harris, Jr., beloved husband of Betty Robinette Harris, died May 12, 2009 at his Hoschton, GA home after a lengthy illness. Born December 22, 1948 in Cotton Valley, LA, he was a 1966 graduate of Woodlawn High School in Shreveport, LA. During the Vietnam era, he joined the U.S. Air Force, serving at Osan Air Base, Korea and Tinker Air Force Base, OK. A 1982 LSU graduate who made his home in GA 19 years ago, J.D. was a proud Tigers football fan who braved a sea of UGA â
