Lou Belle Radford

Mrs. Lou Belle Radford, age 88, of Dahlonega, GA died Monday May 11, 2009 at her residence.

Mrs. Radford was born is Cherokee County, NC and had lived in Lumpkin County most of her life. She was a retired textile worker and homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She was the daughter of the late William and Edith Rose Garrett and was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Radford.

Mrs. Radford is survived by daughter, Alice Grizzle, Dahlonega, GA; sons, Jerry Radford, Dahlonega, GA and Donnie Radford, Dahlonega, GA; sisters, Hattie Miller, Cleveland, GA and Margie Helton, Dahlonega, GA. Five grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Radford are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday May 13, 2009 at the Nimblewill Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. Rev. J.R. Fields and Rev. L.C. Bennett will officiate.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 PM until 9 PM and again on Wednesday until the time of service.
