Sue Elizabeth Hodges Anderson

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Sue Elizabeth Hodges Anderson, age 95, of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Maysville, GA, passed away May 6, 2009. Mrs. Anderson was born on February 1, 1914 in Cheifland, FL, a daughter to the late James and Mahalee Sheppard Hodges. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church in Palm Coast, FL. Her husband, Robert Thomas Anderson, of Maysville, preceded her in death.

Survivors include, daughter, Shirley Anderson Guthrie and son in law, Dr. Fred F. Guthrie Jr. of Bishop, GA; grandchildren, Fred Guthrue III, Bishop, Anne Sorrell, Flovilla, AL, Ruth Guthrie, Watkinsville; 9 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Dr. Fred F. Guthrie Jr. officiating. The burial will be in the Sunrise Cemetery in Maysville and the visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10 â
