Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Robert John Sanchez, age 24 of Clarkesville. Mr. Sanchez passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from Alexander Funeral Home chapel with White County Fire Department Chief Dickie Howard and Chaplain Brian Alexander will officiating. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park.
Mr. Sanhez was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on December 19, 1983. He attended Palm Beach Lakes High School and North Technical School where he majored in automobile repair.
He moved to Habersham County in 2006 where he was at the time of his death employed with Truck Parts Depot as a diesel mechanic.
He is survived by his mother and step father, Ana & Chuck Newberry, Clarkesville; father, George Sanchez Sr., Miramar, Fl.; Grandparents, Edilberto & Idalla Sanchez of Miami, Fl.; Josephine Ray and Victor Ortiz of Miramar, Fl.; Brothers and sister in law, George & Chastidie Sanchez Jr. of Port St. Lucie, Fl.; brothers, Jackie Sanchez and Christopher Sanchez both of Davies,Fl.; uncles, Eddy and Jackie Sanchez of Pembroke Pines, Fl.; Jimmy Sanchez of Coconut Grove, Fl.; aunt & uncle, Elaine & Frank Stackowiecz of MaryAnna, Fl. As well as a host of cousins.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home of Monday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 9 PM.
