Cleo Cindy Rider

Mrs. Cleo Cindy Rider, age 76, of Dahlonega, GA died Thursday April 30, 2009 at Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega.

Mrs. Rider was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. She was a homemaker.

She was the daughter of the late Jerry Lingerfelt and Nebraska Rider Lingerfelt and was also preceded in death by sons, Jerry and Timmy Rider; and a brother, Bill Lingerfelt.

She is survived by her husband, Boyd R. Rider, Dahlonega; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Tony Shubert, Dawsonville, Terri and Chris Day, London, Kentucky; daughter, Jennifer Atkins; sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Kathy Rider, Dahlonega, Richard and Joann Rider, Dahlonega; son, Stevie Rider; sisters, Susie Lingerfelt, Dawsonville, Thelma Stamey,Tucker, Ga, Clore Miller, Flowery Branch; brothers, Jewell Lingerfelt, Dahlonega, Roy Lee Lingerfelt, Dawsonville. 30 grandchildren, 38 great- grandchildren, and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday May 3, 2009 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega. Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 PM until 9 PM.
