Elmer W. Stafford

Barrett Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Elmer W. (Dub) Stafford, age 80, of Cleveland who passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Habersham County Medical Center following an extended illness.


Mr. Stafford was born January 25, 1929 in Madison, Alabama to the late Charlie Elmer and Beatrice Wolaver Stafford. He worked with NASA as a contracting officer and was of the Baptist faith.


Survivors include his wife, Agnes Stafford of Cleveland; daughters, Paula Stafford of Seattle, Washington; Kimberly Henrdricks of Kingsport, Tennessee; Jill Egan of Stewart, Florida; Tammy Lambros of Scottsdale, Arizona; brothers, Billy Wade Stafford and Joe Stafford of Madison, Alabama; and 11 grandchildren.


Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 02, 2009 at Charity Lane Cemtery in Hazel Green, Alabama with Reverend Charles Jones officiating.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM unil 9:00 PM Friday, April 30, 2009.
