Jerald Dean Turner

Jerald Dean Turner, 70, of Whittier, NC went home Sunday, April 26, 2009 at his residence. A native of White County, GA, he had lived in Swain County for the past 36 years. He was the son of the late James C. and Pearl Etris Turner. He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

He is survived by four daughters, Dianne Payne and husband Allen of Oakwood, GA; Deborah Turner of Whittier; Karen Delores Cozzens and
husband William of Franklin; Deanna Owen and husband Jason of Whittier; five grandchildren, Allena Payne, Josh Payne, Erin Dorsey,
Felicia Owle, Christina Owle; one brother, Joseph Turner of Cleveland, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2P.M. Saturday at Barrett Funeral Home in Georgia.
