Mary Samples

Mrs. Mary Samples, age 90, of Dawsonville, formerly of Forsyth County passed away Sunday, April 26, 2009. Mrs. Samples was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and loved flowers and quilting. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawson Samples and children, Laura Fay and Lula Mae Samples, Sarah Thomas and Jerome Samples.



Survivors include her children, Lewis and Cindy Samples of Dawsonville and Ellen Samples of Cumming; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Mary L. Samples of Cumming. Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.



Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 28, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Rex Byrd, Rev. Ronnie Brown and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.



The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:30 to 9:00 p.m., Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
