Mr. Robert Gwen Moseley, age 81, of Atlanta, GA, died Tuesday April 21, 2009 at the Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, GA.
Mr. Moseley was born in Cross Keys, SC Jan. 15, 1928. He was a member of Dahlonega Baptist Church. He was a retired automobile salesman. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Mr. Moseley was the son of the late James C. Moseley and Ludie Hollis Moseley and was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Moseley, Atlanta, GA; son, Bob Moseley, Tucker, GA; daughters and sons-in-law; Julia and Nubbin Garner, Dawsonville, GA, Candy and Bill Evans, Lawrenceville, GA, and Lisa and Billy Walker, Lawrenceville, GA. Other surviving relatives include 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM. Saturday April 25, 2009 at the Dahlonega Baptist Church. Rev. Bill Hutcheson will officiate.
Mr. Moseley will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 12:30 P.M. until 1 P.M.
Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Lumpkin County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M.
