John E. Thaxton, Jr.

John E. Thaxton, Jr. age 83 of Gainesville passed away
Tuesday at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Thaxton was born in Georgia, and worked as a Security
Guard. He served his Country in the United States Army and
having fought in World War II. He was preceded in death by
his wife Doris Caviness Thaxton.

Funeral services will be held at a later date in Jasper,
Alabama.
