Lucille Helton Stanford

Mrs. Lucille Helton Stanford, Age 89 of Suches, Ga. died Thursday April 16, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.
Mrs. Stanford was a lifelong resident of Union county. She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father; Floyd and Fannie Thomason Helton. A daughter Linda St. Peter. Brother; Doyle Helton. Sisters; Bertha Hope, Myrtle Head, Betty Pierce and Lillian Gooch.

She is survived by her husband; John Thomas Stanford, Suches, Ga. Son and Daughter in law: John T. Stanford Jr. and Sally Stanford, Tallahassee, Florida. Sisters; Grace McGee, Atlanta, GA. Dessie Gilstrap, Marietta, GA. and Willie Cain, Gainesville, Ga. Brother: Bymon Helton, Suches.Grandchildren; Kim Wood, Suches, Ga. Tom Hay and Wife Rhonda Hay, Suches, Ga. Great Grandchildren; Kimber Wood, Brooklyn Wood, Kristi Hay, Logan Wood, Easton Wood, Elisha Hay and Haley Hay.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm Sunday April 19, 2009 at the Mt. Pleasant Hill Baptist Church #2 in Suches, Ga. Rev. William Phillips and Rev. Everett Thompson will officiate.

Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday April 18, 2009 from 1:00 pm til 9;00 pm at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, Ga.
