Hilda Streetman

Mrs. Hilda Streetman, age 58, a life long resident of Forsyth County, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009. Mrs. Streetman was a charter member of Cumming Baptist Church and served on various committees. She was devoted to her church, family and work and was a charter member of the local Civitan Club. She was preceded in death by her parents Brad and Bessie Samples, brother Allan Samples, nephew Mike Swims, mother-in-law Betty Jean Streetman and brother-in-law Ricky Streetman.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years Aldon Streetman of Cumming, daughters Ali Streetman of Decatur, Brittney and Chuck Shadburn of Cumming; grandson Charlie Moss Shadburn; sisters and brothers-in-law Martha and Mickey Swims of Woodstock, Sandra and Harold Johnson of Roopville, father-in-law and mother-in-law Dorsey and Shirley Streetman of Cumming; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Melissa and Don Shaw of FL and Dolene Streetman of TX; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 15th at 11:00 am at Cumming Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Williams and Rev. Barry Crocker officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm.
