Marguerite McClure Mathis

Mrs. Marguerite McClure Mathis, age 90, of Gainesville died Monday April 13, 2009 at Limestone Heritage.


A native of Forsyth County, Mrs. Mathis had lived in Hall County for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late J.A. and Bertha Jay McClure. Mrs. Mathis was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope United Methodist
Church in Forsyth County.


Survivors include her husband Carl Mathis, Gainesville; son & daughter-in-law Philip and Joan Mathis,Gainesville; sister Mardell McClure, Gainesville. Several neices, nephews and several very special friends and
neighbors also survive.


Mrs. Mathis is preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Mathis; sister, Grace Walton; brothers, Leon McClure, Lloyd McClure and Slyva McClure.


Funeral services will held at 2:00 p.m Wednesday April 15, 2009 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The Rev.
Larry Patton and the Rev. James Styles will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday April 14, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
until 8:00p.m.
