Harriett Newman Carroll

Harriett Newman Carroll age 96 of Marietta formerly of
Gainesville passed away April 12, 2009.
Mrs. Carroll was born January 17, 1913 in Hall County to the
late Harvey and Margaret Mealor Newman. She was a graduate
of Gainesville High School and Brenau College. She was a
homemaker and a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in
Atlanta.

Survivors include: Daughter and Son in law, Virginia and
David Huckabay of Marietta, Granddaughter, Katherine Odom of
Greenville, S.C., Grandson, Zachary Huckabay of Moore, S.C.,
Great Grandson, Wade Odom, Brother, Jack Newman of
Gainesville.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday April 15, 2009
at the Mason & Ward Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gordon
Reinertsen officiating. Burial will follow in Alta Vista
Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m.
until service time on Wednesday at Mason & Ward Funeral
Home.
