Richard Allen Maring

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Richard Allen Maring, age 72 of Cleveland . Mr. Maring passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Friday, April 10, 2009 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Robert Highsmith officiating. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park

Mr. Maring was born in Rock Island, Illinois on April 11, 1936 to Vircel Maring and Ada Helen Fitch. He moved to White County in 1994 from Orlando, Florida where for some 18 years he was employed with the Walt Disney Company as painter. He wa s preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Maring

Survivors include his daughters Amanda Maring and Lynette Vie both of Cleveland; son Mark Maring, Valdosta; brother, Larry Maring, Orlando, Fl. and grandchildren, Christiana Ratcliff and Amanda Ratcliff

The family will receive friends at the funeral home of Thursday from 6 to 9 PM
