Daisy Turk Harris

Daisy Turk Harris, 88, passed away Monday, April 6 2009. A life time resident of Hall County, she was born on November 20, 1920 to the late Rev Oliver and Della Cash Turk. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who loved to sew. She was a member of Chestnut Mountain Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Harris.


She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Donna and David Hulsey of Flowery Branch; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Shelia Harris of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law Harvey and Helen Turk of Houston; sister and brother-in-law, Ila and Dewell Allison of Flowery Branch; grandchildren; Alan, Valerie, Vickie and Steven; 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 8, 2009 from 2:00pm until 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Little & Davenport, 355 Dawsonville Hwy, Gainesville, GA.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Little & Davenport funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James McNeal and Rev. Ronnie Wales will officiate.

Interment will be in Chestnut Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.
