William Ermin Chandler

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. William Ermin Chandler of Clarkesville. Mr. Chandler passed away Monday, April 6, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness. He was 81

Mr. Chandler was born on May 13, 1927 in Quitqua, Texas to Bub and Etta Hodges Chandler. He served in the United States Army during WWII and retired from Allied Signal Corporation in California as a Maintenance Supervisor. He was of the Baptist faith and is preceded in death by his wife, Joy Chandler

Survivors include his son, Matthew Chandler, Wilmington, CA.; William Chandler and Michael Edgar both of California; daughter, Denise Hopkins, Clarkesville as well as 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren
