Wynell Ridings Thompson

Mrs. Wynell Ridings Thompson, age 87 of Cumming, passed away Sunday, April 05, 2009. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Longstreet Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Emmett Thompson.

Survivors include her children Wendell and Eria Thompson of Cumming, Judy and James Mooney of Cumming, and Anthony Thompson of Cumming; sisters Virginia Barron of Cumming and Luna Mae Roper of Alpharetta; brother and sisters-in-law Aubrey and Elizabeth Ridings of Cumming, Betty Ridings of Cumming and Vivian Corley of Grayson; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 7th at 3:00 pm at Longstreet Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Caylor and Rev. John Lummus officiating. Interment will follow in Longstreet Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Monday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
