Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday March 31, 2009 at Gillsville Baptist Church for Lena O. Standridge, 95, Lula, Ga. Rev. Bill Calhoun, Rev. Bradley Elliott and Rev. Henry Webb officiating.

Burial will be in Gillsville Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Standridge will lie in state at the Church 1:30- 2:00pm Wednesday. The family will receive friends Monday March 30, 2009 at Wards Funeral Home from 6pm-7pm.

Mrs. Standridge was born in Jackson County. She was a Homemaker and was a member of Gillsville Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Standridge, sisters, Essie Welborn and Sylvia Dorsey, brothers Arthur Sanders, Ferd Sanders, T.J. Sanders, Frank Sanders and Henry Sanders, grandchildren, Melissa Ann Wilson and Micky Dwayne Wilson. Survivors include, Son & Daughter-in-law, Jerry & Carolyn Standridge, Gillsville. Daughter & Son-in-law, Linda & Donald Wilson, Lula. Sister, Fannie Sims, Gillsville. Brother-in-law, Alferd Welborn, Gillsville. Grandchildren, Tony Wilson, Lula, Jeff Standridge, Gillsville, Douglas Standridge, Gillsville, Great Grandchildren, Lori Jean Standridge, Mitchell Standridge, Madison Standridge, Megan Standridge, and Daniel Standridge and a Number of Nieces and Nephews.
