Edna Winchell

Mrs. Edna Gage Winchell age 95 of Gainesville passed away
Tuesday March 17, 2009 at the New Horizon North Nursing
Home.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Winchell was the daughter of
the late Ralph and Estelle Roberts. She was retired from
Picker X-Ray where she worked as an Engineering Secretary
and was manager of the credit union. Mrs. Winchell had lived
in Hall County, Georgia since the early 1970's. She was a
lifelong member of the Gainesville Elks Lodge and was an
Outstanding Woman of the Year. She attended the First
Baptist Church on Green Street.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Gwynn Gage and R.
Douglas Winchell.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday March 23,
2009 in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home in Painesville,
Ohio. Interment will follow in the Mentor Cemetery in
Mentor, Ohio. The family will receive friends Monday March
23, 2009 from noon until the funeral hour at the funeral
home.

The family will also receive friends at the Mason & Ward
Funeral Home, 1190 McEver Road, Gainesville on Thursday
March 19, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial
contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Survivors include her Son & Daughter-in-law; Ralph and Ann
Gage, Gainesville. 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great
Grandchildren also survive.
